  Palm Beach Grill is just the right blend of relaxed and classy and, maybe because it sits close to the water, it’s not infected with the insufferably snobbery some places across the bridge exhibit. The service was prompt and friendly and the food rivals any place I’ve eaten.
  
  I had the Aged Prime Rib which is served bone-in and a portion large enough to feed two people. The term “aged to perfect” is overused to the point of being trite but I can say the prime rib was aged to where it carried an earthy, complex flavor that was perfectly accented by a seasoned crust. My wife had the fillet, which she said was as good as any she’d ever had.
  
  It was as close to a perfect dinner out as we’ve had anywhere, including our recent tour of rated restaurants in Miami. Part of the entertainment is the open kitchen, which hides absolutely nothing about how your food is prepared. I was pleasantly impressed and everything worked together from the valet to when we stepped back outside.
  
  If you’re local, go now before the snowbirds start filtering back, reservations are hard to get during the season. The Palm Beach Grill makes it okay to cross the bridge for dinner out.
